The last two St. Patty’s have been fun as hell, for I have happened to be up in the Highlands of NC. This year isn’t looking so good. I’ll still probably end up drunk.

I’m more excited for Easter this weekend, and I’m not religious at all anymore.
But I know I’ll be eating good ham and cheesy potatoes! And sharing anti semetic jokes with the fam!

This used to be MY holiday.
I LOVE St. Pattys day, almost as much as halloween.
I guess more back in school, but I remember this one bar near ann arbor that started serving at 7 a.m. and beers were 5 cents and went up 5 cents an hour all day.

it was the first time i was old enough to not be the DD
this St Patty’s day i’ve got kind of a fever/head cold going as well as being kind of bitter about some girl drama going on too.
i’ll have to be extra careful i suppose.
every year i swear off St. Patty’s Day, and i’ll probably do that again today. i just have no business getting THAT drunk. oh well. at least i won’t be raping any children tonight. that’s only 9 hours of raping!

well to tell ya all the truth .True Irish folk arent suppose to drink on this day. and thats what i practice every year.and if its on a weekend then after midnight i let it all hang out. but since its a work day tomarrow i will not be having a beer after 12.i will be sleeping my ass off.first day back to work and wow im sore . so happy st . pattys day.

Well, that was the first St Paddys day in forever that I didn’t get drunk. Feeling pretty good today actually. Hope you all had a blast anyway.

only spent $9 though. That’s cool.
I did the 7am thing but it was more like 9am. Either way it’s kind of pointless since I can’t drink that much that early in the morning. And even then, I was never able to make it all night and usually went to bed around 4 or 5 in the afternoon.
This year I didn’t do crap…I have Thursday and Friday off for the tournament so I’ll be doing some all-day efforts at the bar this year watching four games at once. It’s a joy.

It’s strange, though…the shirt I wore to work had green stripes on it, and the shirt I worked out in was the green “Bathtub Gin” shirt. Both were completely subconscious choices. Huh.

I guess I just forgot to pace myself. I woke up okay at least … I just remember going to bed a bit on the drunk side. We had a St. Patty’s Day gig.
Things could’ve been a lot worse for me. By midnight I was already home, and cooking myself a steak, which I don’t remember eating too much.
I’m sure it was good though.
oh yeah why I left so early was because I scared myself at the bar.
While there, I suddenly realized I didn’t have my wallet in my pocket, so I searched the bar where I had been walking around a few times, then went back to the table I had been sitting at for a little bit. It was laying on the ground, open, right in plain view. Between 2 and 3 hundred in it.
Then I felt so lucky that I just decided to walk home and not fuck anything else up. Good idea.
