I like where you’re going with it. Anyone want to solve it out/have any other methods to figure it out? I would take a shot at it, but dont want to offend the aphishionados out there with my lack of knowledge (see what i did there?).

I appreciate the OPs idea. It contributes something a little different and unique…even thought provoking! The day I first read it, I did engage in thinking about it for several minutes of stoned mathematics.
I think you would need a large sample of varied pieces of his playing and actually count the individual notes then develop means. Maybe break it down into different areas and then extrapolate from there. Say, a few songs off each album he has made. Random samples taken from different points in different shows with all the acts he has been involved in. You would have to count notes in a lot of different live jams to get anywhere near an accurate idea of even notes played live. Then, you would have to factor in decades of intense practice, song writing sessions, recording, etc.
