I know exactly what you mean, the other day I was coming home from class and I was listening to Divided Sky from 2-20-93 and there is this one part in my journey where I drop down this hill and you can see all the way across the valley and the top of the other side and the sky beyond. The sky was red witha few clouds and the air was that crsip winter air. It was at that real quiet point in dSky and it all just semed right, like we were put on this earth for moments like that. It was so beautiful and the music was so great…it was just awesome. I almost drove off the road, but pulled it back together, and I wanted to turn around and do it again, but there is no way I could re-create that moment…it was just awesome. I LOVE PHISH!
So many times when I am driving with my friends, a phish jam will come on and everyone just stops talking. Not really on purpose just everyone gets in tune with the music without even realizing it. Then when its over someone will say wow, I did not even realize how intense that was untill it ended. Phish is the best driving music there is.not really a coincidence but everything in my life seems to revolve around phish. anytime anything is mentioned i think of phish. like someone said before i cannot say “maybe so” without a “maybe not”. today i looked at a clock and it was 12:11 and i immediatly thought of 12-11-99 at the spectrum, then i realized today was 12-11.
Yeah, I’m with spooks. Life revolves around Phish. Unfortunately, I don’t have the “show proficiency” to see a time or date and remember show, venue, highlights, etc.

This has nothing to do with driving, but whatever.
The other day i was making soup in the kitchen. I had my computer on shuffle with the music. DWD came on, and I started dancing around the kitchen without realizing what I was doing. A few moments later I stopped. It was a really weird subconcious reaction to the music. That had never happened before.
One time, probably in early '96, me, my brother and my friend went down to the beach to puff. I popped in 12-29-95 set II and sparked the bowl. Just as Trey sung “Hey Makisupa Policeman” a cop pulled in behind us, turned around and drove off. I almost had a heart attack! :o I still remember my brother laughing while he sang “Hey Makisupa Policeman!”

I was in Jamaica last year for Christmas and I was chillin in the Ocean just humming Soul Shakedown Party and then the actual version came on out of the cabanna. It was totally cool.
Side note: forget all that crap about Santa Claus. He drives a ski-do, has dreads and gives out bottles of Applteton’s Rum for Christmans.

I put in 9.18.99 II and was chilling at work when the girlfriend of a guy I know stopped in to have me take a look at her phone. I had never met her before, but lo and behold she was rather attractive. Right when she came in, it was at the part in “Meatstick” where the band bellows “Time for the meatstick, bury the meatstick…!”
I thought “man, what great timing”
in our very own oh kee pah chat room i was talking to the user marley and telling him how i was listening to weekeapaug from 12/11/99 and then he said trying to make a woman match your move…just as he said it it said it in the song…wow wuz it ever sweet

Ok, I have another one… Once I read a review of a show where they played TMWSIY, and I was reading a review of the show (possibly 12-98-96) and the reviewer said something along the lines of how he loved the song so much and it was always so sweet to hear… and I always think about that for some reason when I go to Subway (which I do A LOT, their subs are sooo great…the bread…the chicken…oooohhh man…) anyways… Whenever I go to Subway I either get a Buffalo chicken sandwich (which is just chicken w/ hot sauce) or the Sweet Onion chicken teriyaki sandwich, and whenever I get the sweet onion sandwich I always think of TMWSIY, so ever since they released that sandwich it is known to me as “The TMWSIY Sandwich”
I wonder if they would know what I was talking about if I asked them for that…

oh man, last Febuary, I remember it so clearly, I was listening to Slip Stich and Pass, I just got it for my birthday, i was sitting in study hall, listening to Wolfman’s Brother, and when it got to that part that goes, " the telephone was ringin’, thats when I handed it to Liz" the phone in the study hall room rang. It was crazy, i was like SDL:KFJSD:LFJ.
I do alot of the stuff you guys mention, like when some one says like one word, i link it to a Phish song, and start singin, or i just shout random Phish lyrics at people. like, “what ever you do take care of your shoes” then walk away, i get weird looks.
We just finished shakespear’s " Much Ado About Nothing" in english. Every time man, some one said it, or i read the title, i couldn’t help singing Swept Away,
