Phish fall tour t-shirts

Just curious - I figure some of you got a fall tour t-shirt at a show on this past run, right?

I bought one of the brown ones with the “coffee cup” design… and the design looks cool, but the t-shirt itself is extremely cheap, thin, shitty material. It’s so thin you can SEE THROUGH IT, like a pair of nylons or something. This thing is going to fall apart after like 3 trips through the wash.

I paid $30 for this shirt and I feel completely ripped off. :imp:

sucks that you paid $30 for it. at cville, i laid 2 $20.00 on the table, she gave me one back saying that i gave her one too many $20’s. i ended up paying $10 for the shirt.

are they American Apparrel shirts?

^ I don’t think so. I don’t remember the actual brand on the tag but I know it was one I didn’t recognize.

Maybe I just got a crappy print run or something. I hope that’s the case, and they didn’t print all their shirts on such crappy throwaway fabric. That’s why I’m curious to see if others found the same thing.

But yeah, I’m stealing a page from Katie’s playbook and writing a letter :stuck_out_tongue:

at least ya’ll remembered to take yours with you when you left… :unamused:

I do remember it being very thin, almost like they were going for an already-broken-in feel

^ Maybe “already about to fall into tatters,” yeah. :frowning:

Who knows, I could be wrong and it’ll turn out to be fantastically durable, but I have pretty strong doubts. I want nice thick, heavy-duty cotton on my tour shirts, dammit… if you’re gonna charge me $30, I want to still be wearing that thing during summer tour in 2020!!

Strangely, I couldn’t even find the bloody stand at the Cobo. Of course I wasn’t actively looking for it but I didn’t even get to see the shirts. I is sad.

^ Pssh… don’t be sad, clearly they weren’t worth it :eh:

Eh…well I least wanted to see this year’s designs but I guess I could go to Dry Goods for that. But it’s NOT THE SAME!!!
