Hey Everyone,
Not sure if I have asked about this before, but my wife and I toasted at our wedding with the phish champagne flutes that used to be for sale on dry goods. A year or so ago, my wife broke while handwashing it. I have been looking for a replacement for ever now, to no avail. Another one obviously would not be the one that was there that day, but it would look good on the mantle with the other lonely one! Please if you have any idea where I could come across one, or someone has one that they are willing to sell/trade/part with, let me know. It would make a nice Christmas present for my wife, and would make two people really happy. Thanks in advance, and thank you all for being such a nice group of people.

I have contacted dry goods and no such luck. It wasn’t the Big Cypress ones, they were basic champagne flutes, and just had the phish logo etched on the front. I may try to contact that glass etching place, I’m starting to think that’s my best bet. Thanks for the feedback dooj, much appreciated.

In fact, I have a set that I will be using this weekend to toast MY wedding!

Collectors put a lot of stuff up there. Mostly posters/prints,…but there are a lot of other stuff too like shot glasses, pints, and even those flutes.
You can also track things that you want to buy or sell and get an email if anyone ever posts them for sale on ebay or something. But ebay & EB are your best bets.

They weren’t crystal. Pretty standard glass champagne flutes with the phish logo on them. I looked at expresso beans and it doesn’t seem like any are available, but I put a wanted add on there if people are looking to get rid of one. It’s tough because I am sure they have some out there, but tracking one down has proven pretty much impossible. Buying one from an etching company seems unlikely as the smallest batch they seem to have is 50. I’d be flipping them in the lot for eons, and the logo would make them licensed products setting me up for a fine. I guess I’ll just hope someone has one that they are willing to part ways with. Congrats on your impending nuptuals gamecat. Hope all goes well!

I came home from work tonight after a typically stressful evening, I work as an ER Crisis Counselor, doing psych. evals and determining what level of care people need to get to a better place. That being said my work is stressful by default, but I like helping others, so it makes me happy. I came home to a package from Dr. Badgely containing a champagne flute that he had told me had. I have to say that I’ve always been impressed by this board, and phish in general, as a community, regarding willingness to help others. This really meant so much to me, and my wife, to have something close to the flutes that we toasted our wedding with, together again. It’s so nice to see that nice people like Dave are out there, willing to help someone out where they can. We don’t all know each other personally, but this re-enforces the good feelings I have always had about this place. My wife and I appreciate this so much, and both feel strongly that karma will aid Dave in his travels at some point or another. Merry Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hannakuh, Happy Holidays in general to all the OKPers out there, and best wishes for a great new year (and a ridiculous NYE if you got tix for MSG!)
