I don’t really see the attraction of seeing Phish in a 3-D movie. If I wanted to see them in 3-D I would go to a show… Maybe I’m just cynical, but how does 3D improve watching 4 guys standing there playing their instruments?

Like Little said, I am attracted to the whole concept of reliving Festival 8 again. I think for nostalgia purposes it could be awesome. I just imagine Kuroda’s lights, balloons, everything . . .being in the theater, remembering it all and believing a glow stick is about to hit me in the head.

My first reaction to this was “What the fuck, why are they doing this?” My first thought was that this smacks of Hannah Montana or some shit like that. I mean, the only other live concert 3D movies I’ve ever heard of were Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana. I hate to even use those names on a board dedicated to the best best in the world, but shit, I’m just not sure about this. I do agree with Will that the lights could be cool though. Well, hopefully they make it really Phishy somehow. This Capshaw fucker has got to go.

I don’t see why this wouldn’t be fun. Imagine all the curious non-phans who wander into the theatre only to find all these heads getting down in the aisles. Their reaction alone is worth the price of admission.

^ Yeah I’m hoping it’s gonna be a ton of heads in there dancing and throwing down, but it’s just weird to think about, you know? A movie theater full of dancing heads? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’ll be there, I just think it’s weird. I wonder if we’re gonna be able to smoke in there… :smiley:
