Phish On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (Again)
On Wednesday, June 9th, Phish will be the musical guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. This is the band’s second appearance on the show (the first, as part of the show’s Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main Street” week), and not a repeat of the “Exile” show. Check your local listings for air times.

I just read somewhere that it is KDF from when they were on fallon last time. It also said Trey will be at the Flyer’s game. And according to DWW
So that along with Trey being a Flyers fan gives me reason to believe this theory.
Agreed - it’s likely KDF.
I’m not agreeing or disagreeing, but Fallon is taped at 2:00 in NYC, giving Trey plenty of time to tape the song and make it to Philly for the game.

Phish will be the musical guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight, June 9. The group played “Loving Cup†on the show last month as part of Late Night‘s Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street tribute. This evening Phish will perform a different song on the program.
Since Phish taped its original “Kill Devil Falls†after recording “Loving Cup†last month,that previously recorded performance is likely what will air tonight. Phish’s summer tour kicks off in Chicago Friday.
yeah it was recorded after the Loving Cup from Exile week on Fallon… i have to admit i’m rather disappointed. you could see the same guy in the black mets jersey behind the band and they must’ve asked karissa to move into the middle of the crowd back there so it wouldn’t be SO noticeable that it was pre-taped… but wouldn’t you know it, there she was dancing like an idiot nOOb… an unmistakabley terrible dancer.
plus the boys were all wearing the same clothes and they all had their schoolboy haircuts
makes sense i suppose, their management company said, “Hey, why don’t we record another tune and we’ll have you guys ‘be on the show’ again right before the tour opens…” Fallon is a HUGE phish fan, so i’m sure he had no problem with doin it.
oh well

Yeah while I actually do not mind that tune live, it was an ok performance. BTW, is it me or does Fish look a little bigger than I thought he was? Not sayin, just sayin… Oh and while some of them changed, Fallon had to think ahead as to what outfit to change to and then wear again…

i thought it was a boring, lackluster version of KDF. granted, they have to keep it short and can’t really take it out long, but that solo trey played was uninspired and put me to sleep

Phish has never really been good on televised appearances… 
^True but I thought that Loving Cup from Fallon smoked for TV. Best TV performance by them in some time…I can remember a smoking Chalkdust back in the day on,…Letterman?
