I have also heard YEM on the weather channel a couple of times. Also a couple weeks ago I was hearing Phish in a bunch of different car commercials (besides the Hummer ‘2001’ one). There is a talk radio station I listen to here in Orlando and every weekday about noon during the mid day show the producer will start a Phish tune to start the intro from commercial. One time he was seriously jammin’ out to Wilson and the host of the show was asking him if he was ok! Too funny…
Why is this suddenly at the front, if it hasn’t been posted on since Sept?

I would have swore I heard Phish on the weather channel the other day. But I couldn’t tell, it wasn’t something obvious to me. But i’m pretty sure it was trey’s tone. But I walked in my classroom, the weather channel was on, so I stopped to listen, keeping the weather channel phish thread in mind. I’m almost sure I heard Phish. I stopped in my tracks and said out loud, “Phish is on the weather channel!”. Then everyone looked at me, and I went to go play hackysack with a bunch of other guys, unfortunately out of listening range.
P.S. According to thew website listing all the songs they’ve played, Panic is also a possibility!

The only time i heard a tune was David Bowie on TWC. i actually cared about the weather that day.

I need to start watching TWC more often, I have yet to hear any of these tunes on there. Maybe I’ll check the website, maybe we can stream some shows if you look around enough…
They play Panic’s Liza’s Apartment off of Ain’t Life Grand…im sure theres others too…
Slightly off-topic, but the guy who chooses the musical intros between innings for WEEI Red Sox radio, sometimes picks Phish too. I was driving up to Vermont and I start jamming to Axilla, and then realize that I had been listening to the radio, not a tape!
i live in southwest, ct, any chance i get that station??? never heard of it b4…then again i dont listen to radio much.
