Now I guess I just sit and wait for a Junta double record to surface. Come on, Junta, you can do this. Manifest.

I’d love to see the rest of those albums on vinyl, I’d definitely try and get 'em. Junta, Nectar, Rift, Hoist, Billy Breathes, Round Room & Undermind… it’s only seven more releases, let’s do this! ::signs imaginary petition::

I checked for that Page solo record on vinyl, but I don’t know if it was ever issued.

There’s still those two 7" releases - Moss remixes & 2 Soundchecks… and the TTE vinyl thing too. Otherwise I guess I’ve got the set.

I even have a ‘flat’ of A Live One - a 12" square album-sized promo card that I was allowed to take from my CD-shop job from the mid 90s.

I thought about arranging them all for a group photo, but then I figure, we all know what they look like.

Well I did it. Picked up an unopened Story of the Ghost AND Farmhouse on eBay. They’re in my grubby paws now. I couldn’t wait to tear them open and listen, but for some reason I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

By the way…don’t anybody else try to buy a rift on vinyl. It was never released on vinyl. They did release a thing called a “flat” that is some sort of poster that resembles a record cover and some people try to sell this as a record. Do not buy!!

Yes. I think I paid a fair market value for them. I’ve tried to buy them before on eBay, but was always waaay outbid. I think this was fair. Now I can die happy. Although I still haven’t opened them. :crazy:

I’ve been wondering what the difference (if any) there was from the Superball releases and the Black Friday releases and found this on the Phish website saying they’re from the same run:

The White Tape (180g white vinyl) and Party Time (2-LP 180g vinyl) were first released on vinyl this past summer at Super Ball IX, and these copies are part of the same original run. Both LPs will be available in stores only beginning November 25th, 2011.

It’s hard to believe that all copies didn’t sell at Superball; which leads to my next question. Does anyone know how many copies of White Tape and Party Time were produced on vinyl?

I thought I remembered that there were 1500. The White Tape record WAS sold out, because my SBIX agent tried to get me one and they were gone. They must have held some back I guess.

Jeebus. Nope, I play mine. It was $9.99 when I found it in the mid-90s. I think it was sealed, too! I have Farmhouse on my turntable right now in the bedroom … but the wife’s home from work and sleeping so it was like fuuuuccck.

I’m gonna call N00b Comix soon and ask if I can get special privileges for no real reason. Or if not, a copy of the Phish record. Junta. Vinyl. Coming out. On. Tomorrow. 4.20 > 4.21. Hosemasterflex. Getting up early. Imagine there might be a separation line on the record between Fluffhead & Fluff’s Travels. :think: I’m also wondering if side 6 will look just like Joy side 4. And wondering about the labels, and the Contact fade-out …

Also I have prepared myself for Nectar and Rift, by firmly establishing what I believe should be the layout, so that I can repeat the same frustration come Record Store Day 2014 & '15 or whatever.

So these are my PHiSH records. I guess I’m missing three; Two Soundchecks, Moss Remixes, and the Trey TTE. I’m not exactly on the hunt for any of those, so I’m good with what I’ve got. Better, even. The Lawn Boy orange sticker says “$9.99” and the ALO is just a flat I grabbed from the record store. If only, right?

Sorry about the lame pic - I rarely take photos, not sure what I could do different honestly. Could have lit the room better, but meh. I had to do this quick before anyone noticed me being a total nerd.
