Phish Riffs/Melodies Stuck in Your Melon?

Bill mentioned he had the outro jam to “The Lizards” stuck in his head, and then it got stuck in mine.

I find myself whistling/humming:

“Light Up or Leave Me Alone” jam (near the end, Trey’s part, is this the “Big Country” part???)
“Walls of the Cave” (lyric part)
“JBG” jam from 11-17-97 (Trey’s melody near the end)
“Timber Ho”
“Roggae” (outro jam part)

(Yes, I know three of those are covers)

lately I have found myself whistling the playful, carnival-like riff from Sugar Shack.

I lived on a volcano in Panama for a year. Every morning the summit would be covered in clouds. Every morning “I’m on the road again!!!”

outro riff to Dirt

I tend to pay a good amount of thought to the end riff in Camden Sand. And then Trey plays it in Suzy!

That’s crazy, I get that stuck in my head more than any other Phish melody. Others:

Down With Disease riff
Theme From The Bottom bass line
Sand bass line
I Am Hydrogen
Glide

Ocelot.

Stash

I have had the whistling section to Guyute and chorus stuck for about 9 months. I whistle it to myself obliviously everyday. It makes me feel good even when things are shittay.

Hapua rift that trey randomly busts out during the narration

That part of ‘Rift’ which is also in ‘The Curtain With’ … slowly, and beautifully …

Wow! All last week I had this song stuck in my head and often found myself whistling that very part throughout the day.

OOOOOOO OOOOOO OOOOOOO…Brian & Robert all day. :sunglasses:

Super catchy, isn’t it? Mikes the man.

“I’ve been wading in the velvet sea. I’ve been wading in the velvet sea. I’ve been wading in the velvet sea. I’ve been wading in the , I’ve been wading in the…”

Over and over and over and over again and again for almost 2 weeks now.

YES!!!

And for some reason the beginning riff of KDF and “the wind buffs the cabin…” from Dust have been in my head for a week…

From the NYE 95 Weekapaug: the Trey lick when the sort of start stop jam happens near the middle.

I find myself singing “dun dun, dun dun… Wilson” over and over as I walk around campus. The tempo never fails to sync up with my walking.
