Phish songs to play on xmas eve

So every year my family does the fish dinner on Christmas Eve, and every year my dad tries to incorporate another fish thing (flying fish beer, fish trays, etc.) Between last year and this year I have discovered the greatness of Phish and think they need to be incorporated into Christmas Eve this year.

My question for everyone, what Phish songs should I add to the Christmas Eve playlist?

Round Room.

The album.

Especially if snow is on the ground.

Well, these have to be “safe for family” Phish tunes, yes? Perhaps do studio versions of the “safer” Phish tunes. My Dad likes Heavy Things for example. What else…Velvet Sea, Billy Breathes, If I Could, Waste, maybe Taste, Backwards Down the Number Line, Back on the Train, Joy, Bug, maybe Cars Trucks Buses, Cavern, Dirt, Gumbo, Horn, Down With Disease (studio may be best), Lifeboy, Mock Song, My Friend My Friend, maybe Mound, maybe Runaway Jim if you find a short version without all that boring jamming, Horse->Silent in the Morning, The Squirming Coil (the A Live One version is superb), Driver, Talk, Weigh, Wolfman’s Brother. Oh yeah…and Union Federal.

i like that idea…

BBFCFM->Jingle Bells->BBFCFM->Deck The Halls->Frosty The Snowman->BBFCFM->Jingle Bell Rock->BBFCFM

7 Below

YES Magilla! Reminds me of Charlie Brown

I also think “Army of One” and “Theme From the Bottom” could work.

All Things Reconsidered

OH KEE PA CEREMONY! almost sounds like something that would be played on a prarie home companion

7 below, it’s ice, gumbo and mound (all snow related).

Oobie Doo, that’s what I like about you-ou-ou.

Riker’s Mailbox! Always a classic.

Do you do the Feast of 7 Fishes Italian thing? I think that is awesome! I think “Sparkle” and “Seven Below” are two cool Xmas Phishy songs!!
