Tough choice!!! But 07/13/1999 is just TOO perfect I gotta pick that one.
Honestly I’m not too familiar with either show.

Overall I think 7/13/99 is a solid show. I remember saying to my buddy at setbreak that night that we were in the midst of an epic night. I think the second set was a bit of a fizzler.
I went with that one though cos’ the first set is one of my favs from 99.
Ghost -> Izabella for the win!
I just heard 7/13 not too long ago. Good stuff. Underrated “Reba!”
I’ll listen to 8/13 today and make my decision!
It is smoking, to say the least.
This whole show, so far, has been pretty solid all around. It’s a very tough call to say I enjoy it more than 7-13-99.
I always think so highly of 7.13.99 when it comes up, but then I remember the 2nd set, which was pretty much a snoozer compared to the epic first set.
Still I think the first set of 7.13 alone makes it the better show. That’s how much I like that set.

7-13-99 Was epic. I have 1 big 1st set critique though. Trey destroyed the chill part of Reba when he got frustrated that people wouldn’t shut up and train wrecked into Carini. I actually like it though. Truly unexpected. I also liked the Hood blimp that night, as opposed to the Tommy Hilfiger blimp from the night before.
I like set II better than most seem to. The Wolfman’s is incredible, Piper is lacking, yes, but Bug and Mountains are always the same but always welcome to me. Mediocre Antelope but still an Antelope, and I liked Possum & Mountains with Scott from Max Creek. I guess compared to the first set it’s boring, but that Wolfman’s is a KEEPER!!! The highlight of the night, perhaps (though I have a huge personal bias towards Roses)
Halleys > Roses > NO2… nice
Big-ass 2nd set… yes
One-off encore… special.
Amoreena might have the edge for the one-time-only song, but is the Stash, Crosseyed, Gumbo, Wilson, Ghost > Izabella and the unexpected trio to end the 2nd set better than Great Woods '99? Maybe not, I don’t know… but I’m a HOMER! I voted Star Lake!

8-13-97 all day… that gumbo is smokin. good stash. sick crosseyed. decent jim set 2 opener then ^ Ghost>Izabella sick indeed. great mcgrupp and a nice 2001. then i nice theme encore to top it off. truly a great show
