My cousin Quin is in a band (The Bascom Hill Band) and on the way to Texas this past Spring the van they were in caught on fire. (Right near St, Louis, Missouri.) Smoke came out of the vents…and then flames. They used a small fire extinguisher, but it didn’t do anything. Quin pulled out all the guitars and other important stuff. He unhooked the trailer and pushed it away. They bought a new van the next day. They were late for their first show in Houston that night, but the people understood when they saw the video. I don’t remember exactly how many shows they played, but they ended up in Austin for SXSW.
