I don’t own one either. If I ever want a photo of something, I’ll borrow my Dad’s camera which happens basically never. The one time I felt the need was when I went to Big Cypress so I bought a nice disposable one and took lotsa pics until it was full. And sure enough 3/4 of them didn’t come out and the ones that did come out were of the trip down to Florida and weren’t of the actual concert at all. So that’s what I get.

i flew out to phoenix to kick off the summer '97 tour. my buddy eric was doing the whole tour with his girlfriend jessica, so i made arrangements to get picked up at the airport. we got lunch and headed back to the hotel to hang out before the show. this was my first time in arizona, and i couldn’t believe how hot it was, somewhere around 115 degrees that day! :o so to beat the heat, we took a swim!

after the gorge, i decided to skip maryland heights and head back to salt lake city with my friend shane. these pics were taken the morning of 8/4, right off I-90, in a park near vantage.
i got up early and decided to draw and snap some photos.

i drove my future wife down to cypress! we had met before, but cypress sealed the deal. my friend steve had a time share condo outside fort lauderdale. we stayed there before cypress and 2 weeks after…good times!

we hung down in florida the weeks following cypress. on one of the days, we traveled to the beach in fort lauderdale.
The morning after 8/14/97, the Kesey show at Darien Lakes NY. Took a couple of mug shots with Further in the lot of the Days Inn in Batavia. Had a picture of Kesey as well, coming out of the hotel the night before, but can’t seem to find that one.
It’s kind of interesting to conjecture what went on in that bus over the years. If the steering wheel could only talk.
