BUMP!!
Has anyone seen any of these shows yet?? I have front row seats from the Minneapolis show on Sunday and I’m pumped!
A buddy of mine had tickets and went down there, only to miss the show because they only played 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get there EARLY!
That’s a little disappointing the shows are only 90 minutes at the most. Oh well, it will still be awesome.
I just got back from the Detroit show, and I was unfortunately dissappointed. It isn’t really the bands fault per se, but I was getting crushed the entire time, I was surprised out how rowdy the crowd was. I’ve seen much heavier bands than Primus and it wasn’t nearly as crazy. I have a lot of respect for Primus, and they are definately one of my favroite bands, but this was an awful first time experience seeing them. The sound was pretty bad too. To top it offer they played a super short set. I would be very surprised if it lasted 90 mintues. From what I could tell the band was having a good time, and there were definately some good moments, but I wish I would have went to the back of the venue sooner. I did for the last 2 songs and the view was so much better as was the sound, and I was getting killed. Anyway, I hope next time around they play longer and have better sound. I’ll definately go to the right spot next time too…
i saw a claypool show last october in sayersville, nj (starland ballroom) and the crowd was way to mosh pit for my tastes, and the music wasn’t to write home about either.
then again, i saw Les Claypool’s Bucket of Bernie Brains two years ago in philly, and that show rocked so hard, mainly b/c of the combo of muscian’s and b/c there weren’t a crap ton of primus fans going bonkers
hey, does any one know what time they came onstage? I’d like to know so I don’t miss anything.
