How many PTBM orders are you putting in?

So last summer and Fall I had 3 tickets request per show for the most part (I think I had more for Syracuse). My hit ratio is about 25% since the Hampton shows but has been improving. Tickets were never very good seats.

At this time I’m only going for 2 tickets (wife and I) to each show I plan on attending, that’s it. Curious what others were doing.

SUB QUESTION. Are you ordering for shows you’re not planning on attending in hopes of trading? (My answer is no).

i got terrific seats for both nights of cincinnati last year with ptbm. 6th row center for night 2. i’ve always had really good luck with them.

wait…are you asking how many shows we are requesting tickets for, or how many tickets to each show are we requesting?

Shows = 2
Tickets = 4

Both Camden 1 & 2.

Crossing fingers and toes for Pavs for night 1 (never had pav seats before), and lawns for night 2.

Putting my money on lawn for both nights.

Sorry, I was curious how many ticket request you putting in for. Like I’ve offered to put in for friends in Atlanta with the stipulation they buy if I hit on those shows. So they’ll put in themselves (order 1) and I’ll put in for them (order 2).

So, Last year I did

  • Me/wife (address/creditcard)
    -Sister (with her address/creditcard)
    -Mom Dad (with their address/credit card)

I’d count that as 3 orders. Yes playing the system.

OR I’d count the below as 2 orders
-Me/wife putting in for 4 tickets to a show
-Friends putting in for 4 ticket to same show.

with the intent that if either order hit the other person was obligated to buy said tickets.

I put in for 5 shows, 2 tickets to each (Chicago, Deer Creek x2, Alpine Valley x2).

Im curious, how many of you that put in for the lotto have already checked your bank account to see if anything has hit yet?

(I’m guilty). :blush:

i have never gotten any tix through PTBM…0% hit ratio :think:

I requested a ticket for Charlotte -> Atlanta. I’m probably going to try for Raleigh on ticketmaster when they go on sale. I got great seats for the New Year’s shows through PTBM. Dead center, right behind Kuroda for the 31st (my favorite spot), so I’m hoping to get some pavilions seats through the lottery

You are wasting your time until the end of lotto requests.

they say it point blank:
All entries will have the same opportunity to get tickets. Entering your order ealier will not grant you a better chance than the guy/gal who enters their requests last.

Therefore, no accounts will be charged, held, etc. until after the lotto request period ends.

I’m planning to put in a single two-ticket request for the shows I’m planning to see. I’m not putting in multiple orders or requesting for shows I don’t plan to see in the hopes of trading. I’ve been burned too many times on that one. Several of my friends are way too noncommittal - they may have grand plans, but 1-2 weeks before the show suddenly those all change, and I’m not gonna get stuck holding $350 worth of extra Phish tix. :lolno:

No requests for me. I’m not taking the risk of getting lawn tickets at a place like Blossom where I may end up eating them, because of course I would try and upgrade through TM/LN. If we were guaranteed pavilions, I would definitely enter the lotto…

I only entered the lotto for both nights of Atlanta and Walnut Creek. I might put in for Deer Creek later next week. I’m just not really concerned with the lottery at the moment. I don’t think that getting tickets will be that big of a hassle, especially after the scalpers have pretty much realized they are going to get fucked either way . . .

Plus, if I don’t score with Ticketmaster or Livenation or Music Today or whatever the hell site we’re using this year, I WILL find tickets. Somebody will have extras. They always do.

Last year at Alpine, there were tickets lying on the ground! Also, this here OKP has a good amount of tickets anyway! :clap:

Hartford both nights
SPAC both nights
Jones Beach both nights

I put in request’s for some friends for shows I wont attend and only put in for Toyota (Not that im worried)…I got shutout last year for all Pre-Sales…Still saw every show I wanted for Face…

No big deal…I never worry about tix… :sunglasses:

I put in for two for each Berkley and Telluride show, if I get them all, I’m still going to only be able to do either Berkley or Telluride…so I’ll definitely be hooking my OKPeeps up on the off chance that I got everything I put in for.

I know. I read it and it’s not the 1st time ive done the lotto. Just nervous anticipation, it’s the only time i like to see a withdrawal of that size come out of my account!

Me and Astralgruv are doing Raleigh - Charlotte - Atl, Atl.

We’re both putting in for two for each show. If we get more than two, we have friends who’ll go to a show or two.

I’m more happy that they’re doing four shows in a row in the south! YES! :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

I wasn’t planning on doing any of the lotto, but reading this thread has me thinking it might not be a bad idea…i just don’t want to end up with Lawns, and then have to sell em for a lower price when I end up trying through the public on-sale…hmm, what to do, what to do… :think:

basically I’m looking at Raleigh->ATL, I might do the lotto for Raleigh…given the fact that Raleigh and Charlotte are not weekends I think the tickets will be score-able
