In the end I dont’ think Loving Cup deserves a #1 seed…Its a pretty good, rockin’ second set closer, and that’s about it.
The only times i enjoyed Cup from 98 on wwas when it was UNexpected. There were a couple Coil Page solo’s in 99 that led directly in Cup and that was cool. The opener at the last Deer creek was interesting as well. But when you could tell it was coming was kind of a bummer.
When could you tell it was coming?? When Page’s piano started I’m guessing?
