in spreadsheet form.
I just gave it a listen myself. Fuck them. That was the biggest pile of bullshit ever.
Thanks for the link!
^
I never want to hear that again. Man, that was awful thing to wake up to on the interstate.
damn, there is alotta stuff there. thank you.
whoa that was fucking weird listening to that Mike Coventry message…that’s the only one my work computer would let me download before it starting blocking the sendspace sites, though
that is odd that Mike didn’t even mention anything about whether the entire concert was canceled, or what was happening…
^I love the “We did so much research and nothing like this has ever happened” and the “We stayed up all night and this is all we could come up with.”
That shouldn’t even be on the spreadsheet, all that good shit on there and Mike Says No knocks it all down a peg.
“Mike Says No” refers to Trey not wanting to (or being able to) play Fluffhead, right?
It’s not Mike’s fault that it rained for weeks on end in Coventry. I agree that the communication was poorly handled, and I was one of the people actually in line hearing it live… but we just said ‘well, time to go get breakfast and then figure out how we’re getting in.’ Simple as that. Phish tour has always required improvisation
Yeah, we had just woken up in the car on the highway and were all brushing our teeth when this came on the Phish radio. Time stopped everyone looked at each other and then I said “come on guys” drove across the street to the farm and asked the farmer if we could park for the weekend, gave him 40 bucks. Then we filled our backpacks with beer and walked 20 miles in to the show. We flew from Los Angeles. There was no “going home” option.
^ Fuck yes dude. We drove in from Michigan, 20+ hours. I told my brother and his g/f “We have a trunk full of camping gear and a cooler full of beer. If nothing else, we’re camping in Vermont this weekend. There is NO WAY we’re going home.”
Wow, I just discovered this spreadsheet today and it is awesome! If you haven’t seen it lately, there have been a lot of additions - videos, soundchecks, sit-ins, etc. Some really good videos (10/31/94, bluegrass sessions w/ Jeff Mosier, island tour, etc.). A lot of the videos are on youtube already but it’s nice to have them all in one place for downloading.
I haven’t seen the link to the full spreadsheet in any other thread so here you go: spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key= … utput=html
Strangely I have some sessions tape but it doesn’t seem to match the ones on the list. It appears to be the Billy Breathes session but it also has an early version of Ghost on it too. Strangely…I’ll have to go home and take a look at it to be sure.
Really enjoying the Round Room sessions. Some of the vocals are rough, but it’s really cool to hear alternate takes and tracks from the session. I wish they would release the whole mamajama. The best sounding studio session they’ve done, imo.
