I am REALLY looking forward to seeing this.
I’m a big fan of Bill Maher. Luv his show on Friday nights when I come home drunk from somewhere. I’m looking forward to this movie.
Bill Maher, the smug, stuck up, pot smoking, slut fucking elitist, that Bill Maher??
Like he would know anything about spirituality, he’s sooo worldly and loves HIMSELF SOOOO much it makes me SICK…
His HBO show SUCKS ASS
I do hope you have a good time at the movie though

Did you just try to use Pot-smoking as an insult? on this board?
Not really, maybe I should modify my post, the others were insults, the pot smoking was just to make sure we were indeed talking about the same guy. Hell I’m smoking a bowl right now
^^^this must be what Alex Jones thinks of Bill Maher
not only did he do that, but he insulted playboy bunnies too!!
Yeah I can’t believe I agree with you thnkstfrstpal, but I can’t stand Bill Maher. In fact I’m extremely offended he’s making this movie. Will never see this crap ever. Maher is a far left extremist who attacks conservatives for no reason. You know if Obama wins the election what will Maher do? He won’t have a job? He needs a republican president to keep his schtick up.
I think I tend to avoid any politically-motivated movies in general. Just feels like I’m being manipulated. I even saw Canadian Bacon once and I didn’t know it was a Michael Moore film until after I saw it and I felt horribly violated. And we thought that Dark Knight was propaganda…

I love Bill Maher.
Free podcasts of Real Time make my day once a week.
i like Maher, but i always feel sorry for my mom when i watch him and he starts going off on Christians (though who can blame him? he’s pretty spot-on most of the time). i wouldn’t call her a fundamentalist by a long shot, but she’s pretty devout, and lives her life not from fear and preaching but from kindness. i guess i would call her more of a “true” Christian. i just don’t think you have to be “A Christian” in order to be Christian. does that make any sense? i can’t quite swallow some of the more “fairy tale” aspects of the faith, but i do feel (like in just about any religion that’s thousands of years old) that there’s some diamonds of truth to be found in the mounds of horseshit. “practice forgiveness” and “do unto others” and “the kingdom of heaven is within” and all that. which is more common sense and dosen’t necessarily need a religion to point it out. anyway, i’ll probably see it because i find the ‘fundies’ to be…well, “fun”.
besides hearing interesting viewpoints on current events, anybody that can’t get a laugh out of his New Rules segment is no friend of mine
Go Bills!!
lol
yay friendship!
Yes,…yes it is.
I want to see this.
Aww being conservative itself isn’t that bad since a lot of it is about the government keeping their head out of regulating stuff and letting the world take care of itself (any true conservative would be totally against this current bailout bill). Of course a majority of most “conservatives” don’t believe this at all. Not to mention there’s the whole religious part of it where they tell us what is morally right and that’s really not a part of a conservative either.
It’s more about being a “Republican” than being a conservative that’s their problem.

THAT’S the issue.
They are NOT what they say they are.
They have become something completely different.
Take a look around, the republican “brand” is really in trouble.
True Conservatives have been saying this for the last 4-6 years when the started to realize that the boy from Texas was changing their party.
They are gonna continue to lose seats in both houses this election and really have no identity.
And if Palin is the future of this party,…well,…god help us all.
They need one of those extreme makeovers, otherwise they will become a part of history like the Whig party.
That being said: Go see Religulous!
I was hoping to go tonight, but the lady works 'til 10, so I might hit up a matinee tomorrow.
