I won tickets to go see him on the 18th…
Should I even bother?

Maybe I should say “Free” show.
The tickets are free.
It is at the House of Blues downtown, so that is where the “free” comes in.
Parking + drinks = not so free anymore.
parking = make someone else drive.
drinks = put two bottles of wine down yer pants…thats what i do.
My pants are already full Thom.
With… ya know… My package.
My parents actually have his “Live at Austin City Limits” show. I don’t really get him. I mean, a lot of his songs are him strumming the acoustic and singing these weird lyrics but there’s never really anything catchy about it, it’s just…there. I could understand putting him on as good background music but nothing else. Plus he’s supposed to be some guitar guy but his solos rarely last more than a minute and while there’s some folks who can do some amazing things with an acoustic, he’s not one of them. Plus his singing voice is pretty dreadful considering that he does all the singing and lots of it. I wouldn’t see him even for free but it’s your choice. He’d be good to get high and mellow out to for a few hours, I suppose.
