I definitely like The Hollies’ version, but it don’t not compete w/ “Ya Mar.”
My favorite “Ya Mar” - Roseland '00!
While Ya Mar has many a fine version… 1997-07-31 being prime example…
I just like Long Cool Woman too much. As far as the actual songs go, this one wins for me.
10.30.98 is a great moment when they play this song…I think that was on the 20th Anniversary montage.
Ya Mar is a kingpin amongst Phish covers though.
