I really like Crosseyed and Painless, even though I didn’t know the name of it until recently, but I have to go for the underdog here, just because it doesn’t have a single vote. And, I think the boys do a really great job with it.
Crosseyed and Painless is better though.
11/2/96 is my favorite version of any Talking Heads song ever including the Talking Heads own versions of their songs. I love that high Page voice in Blue and Lonesome, but it doesn’t compete with Fish’s amazing rapping abilities in CE&P.
I’m quite hip to B&L, but it doesn’t have an ounce of CE&P’s power. UC?
