I had a friend recently brought to tears after hearing Phish do Freebird for the first time (the show was 1993-12-30)… So that one gets my vote.
I have had zero friends brought to zero tears w/ Phish, so “Old Home Place” gets my vote.
Loves the segue out of “Mike’s” during the Island Tour.
Old Home Place is one of my favorites.
Mike’s Song > Old Home Place > Weekapaug is fun.
Freebird with Sam Bush is awesome!
Freebird’s good for a laugh, but Old Home Place is good for a laugh and a dance and an all around good time.
