Saddening news about the passing of Folk Singer, Activist and Actress Odetta. She was truly a badass singer and guitarist. Bob Dylan cites her as the first person that got him interested in folk music. If anyone has never heard this shit you need to check it for she was one of the best singers EVER. She had been fighting health problems for some time and I guess she was asked to perform at Obama’s inauguration which would have been beautiful.
