I can’t wait until the rose bowl, it is going to be an awesome game. I hope USC loses because 32 straight games is too much. I think that young is going to run all over USC.

i agree. i was so into that game, and i was pulling for ND and when i thought they won, i went crazy. then leinert takes in it for the win. i hate usc.
but i sure did think that the fiesta bowl would have been a lot closer. the irish got owned by ohio state. and im sure as hell happy by that result also. i have tons of friends and high school buddies that go there, recently spent new years there, and i just love osu. go bucks!

the U is getting rid of everyone except coker. i guess the only reason theyre keeping him is because he signed an extension before the season. also, i expect that lloyd carr will be looking for a new job soon, since michigan sucked this season.
I think Carr will still be at Michigan b/c there aren’t any other big name coaches available at this point. The alumni will keep him on a short leash next year.

Leinart really blew it on that last play. A quick pass for about 15 yards and USC was in field goal range. What’s the deal on the time-out before Texas’s extra point too? I think Bush should have been more involved as well, esp. on 4 and 2 with 2:20 remaining.
Exactly. There’s no way they’ll fire Carr. And I agree with it. He’s not the reason they suck. Try D-coordinators and the play-callers not to mention that his players just aren’t as good this year (and Michael Hart’s constant injuries don’t help) Ug…look at me…I’m an MSU fan and I’m defending UofM!! BAH! UofM SUCKS! GO SPARTANS! Go Tom Izzo!!
Anyway, I was actually more impressed with USC’s absolutely HORRENDOUS lack of defense in the 4th quarter than I was with Vince Young. I mean EVERYONE I was sitting with KNEW that he was running on that 4th and 5 on the end and not a single linebacker was set to spy him for when he took off. They did this the entire second half. Just blitzed him, he’d easily sidestep the first blitzer an either toss it or run off. All they had to do was keep him in the pocket and let him throw incompletions and it was fine. Not to mention Pete Carroll deciding to transform into the New England Patriots Pete Carroll for the game. Horrendous penalties, him being clueless for the whole game and, of course, that terrible time out for the 2-point conversion (and despite the time out they STILL couldn’t figure out that Young was gonna run it again). Just hilarious.
Oh well…can’t wait for the NFL.

For whatever reason they went for it on fourth & 1 in the first quarter when a FG woulda made it 10-0.
The timeout on before the two point conversion was costly as well. He said after the game that they weren;t expecting Texas to go for 2. What???

Did you see the look on Carroll’s face at the end of the fourth quarter? The camera was on him and he looked lost. He had NO idea what to do. That’s why he took that timeout. Everybody knew they were going for 2 after they scored. A pee-wee would know to go for 2 and make it a 3 point game. Carroll sent his FG block team out and then realized what was wrong took the time out. What an idiot. That’s how you lose with the best team in college.
He screwed up in the first half worse. USC should of lost by at least 14 if it wasn’t for their running game.
Which will be gone next year, and everyone kicks the shit out of them.
