ROSE HILL DRIVE Debut CD/Tour

I first caught these guys at Waka '05 and they ripped me away from a fun-in-the-sun Jazz Mandolin Project show. I caught them late-night at this years Waka, and they sure did tear it up again.

Definitely on the heavier side, but there hasn’t been a band like this in quite some time.

ROSE HILL DRIVE RELEASE DEBUT CD
FALL TOUR ANNOUNCED
PETE TOWNSHEND HAILS THE BAND

“They bring so much raw power to the stage that it is hard to remember that they are still a young band that has so much creative evolution ahead of them. With hair flying and the volume turned up to 11, their live show is not to be missed.” – Pete Townshend of The Who (on his show “In The Attic”)

New York NY – August 25, 2006 – Rose Hill Drive have announced a fall tour that will see them traveling around the world in support of their debut studio album. The band recently sold out the Fox Theatre in Boulder in celebration of their album release.

After spending the last couple years building an enormous underground buzz with thrilling live shows, the Boulder-based trio released their self-titled debut on August 22, 2006 via Megaforce Records/Sci Fidelity.

Rose Hill Drive’s accomplishments in the music world are as stellar and intense as the performances. Critics and musicians from all walks of life praise this band. Rose Hill Drive have done dates with Robert Randolph, Wilco, Queens Of The Stone Age, and also performed at Bonnaroo, Red Rocks, Austin City Limits, and the Warped Tour. Even Van Halen requested Rose Hill Drive to open for them. In 2006, the band played the same stage as The Who at the Wireless Festival on June 25 in Leeds, UK and also the Hyde Park Calling Festival on July 2nd in London. The Who’s Pete Townshend was so enamored with the band, he had them appear not once, but twice on his show, “In The Attic.”

Combining rock with modern touches and clever arrangements, Rose Hill Drive dare to be different.
