paul and silas, old home place, ginseng, … I say we at least add in an Old Home Place somewhere in the first set of Asheville. And I don’t really like the whole Gamehendge idea either, for a few different reasons. One, there’s no way it’s realistic at all. Two, I don’t think it’s right to have one person pick the whole set.

^^ I guess you can retract the first set if you feel the need…just something I felt MIGHT actually be possible.
And since it is Knoxville, TN we KNOW one encore song will be Rocky Top (especially since they sing it at every Vols football game when the team scores).

although i don’t think anyone in tennessee would be complaining if they busted out gamehendge instead of some of their more southern songs. so i was just gonna go with the phlow. i was saving rocky top for 'roo anyway.
I think a full Gamehendge in 2009 would actually be pretty ghey. For better or worse, the band is way more mature than that at this point. I don’t see it being a possibility at all. Whatever, though. The set’s in. It also wouldn’t feel right to go back and change it.
but I do think adding in a Blue and Lonesome, Old Home Place combo in Asheville wouldn’t hurt.
