I’m too lazy to check and see if there’s already a thread for this… lol… But I saw a great movie the other night called “The Last Kiss”. If you haven’t seen it, SEE IT. PLease. Consider yourselves back in 6th grade and this is your book report. Everyone go watch it and report back. If you like Garden State, you’ll love this movie.

I also just watched :The Big Lebowski" for the first time last night ( bought it with my Christmas $$$) Best line of the whole movie?

Nope Greg, not joking… I had never seen it. I bought it though, after hearing y’all rave over it for so long. It was freakin’ hilarious.

That new lady in my avatar is me Will… taken about a month or so ago. I was getting tired of bettie page and needed a new pic, but I couldn’t find one I like, so I just chose that.

P.S - Astral, was blood diamond good? The previews I’ve seen look interesting…

I watched Thank You For Smoking last night, it was damn funny.

I saw the History of Violence.

I thought it was going to, well…a movie about the histroy of violence…boy was I wrong. It turned out to be pretty good though, and it was short too. Maybe it was the mood I was in or something that made it better, but I liked it. I couldn’t sleep one night and it was all that was on (about 1am or so)

It was about this guy who was in the mob and moved out to the country and totally changed his life, then his mob buddies came to get revenge on him, and he busted their faces in (literally to one of them…).

I liked it…

I tried to catch Pan’s Labyrinth last night and got shut out of not one but two shows! The movie got a 22 minute ovation at Cannes this year. Anyone seen this one yet?

I saw Pan’s Labyrinth.

If you are at all intrigued by this, you have to see it. Not to everyone’s taste but very good and totally unique.

My favourite of the year was ‘The Prestige’

It was so odd too, they were just fighting, then “Oh, I’ll go upstairs” BAM “LET’S FUCK IN THE STAIRWELL!” It seemed borderline rape type shit to me… real odd

I saw this for the first time on HBO a few weeks ago. I thought it was good, but didn’t really like the ending. I was expecting just a little more. Meh.

“Children of Men” was excellent.

“A Scanner Darkly” was quite good.

One I’ll always recommend is “In the Bedroom.”

Another one of my favorites is “Glengarry Glen
Ross.” (Most all of David Mamet’s work is great to me.)

“INLAND EMPIRE” is coming soon (Jan. 27th in Chicago).
