Well, now I can tell everyone to go see The Big Lebowski. But watch it twice, for sure. It’s better the second time.

Rocky Balboa… NUFF said
“In the Bedroom”… I was disappointed… I get tired of the “you fucked my girl I kill you” plot line… most people just cry their eyes out for a bit and move on.
Wait… is that what that movie was about??? It was a while ago but I do remember sex and murder… anyway…
I got two movies for xmas… Bottle Rocket and Rushmore… Wes Andersons first two films. I loved Royal Tenenbaums and Life Aquatic and a very attentive gift giver got me these films. I have only watched Rushmore, twice, but it has the same quirky, funny, semi-dark humor, intelligence of the others… and Bill Murray… Good stuff.
I’m actually starting to get sick of the “Dangerous Minds” plotline…
LadyP knows what I’m walking about…
I used to love that movie.
I am eager to see Pan’s Labyrinth though, very eager indeed.
Other than the Brooklyn '04 Phish re-broadcast in July, I literally cannot tell you the last movie I saw in a theatre. I think it was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in August 2005.
Just watched Thank You For Smoking.
Highly recommended.
I agree with Will totally. The smoking movie is definetely a good watch and laugh.
I watched Miami Vice last night and that was good. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Good movies these days are hard to come by in my opinion. At least ones that get 9’s and 10’s.
lights up Marlboro light
What’s it about?
Lately I’ve been watching a lot of CSI: Miami. Real good. I enjoy the original as well, but Miami has hotter chicks on it. And each show has you on the edge right until the last minute.
The same can be said for any Law and Order, whether it be CI or SVU, or the original.
I watched Little Miss Sunshine. Didn’t do much for me… a few laughs… the grandfather was the best character and… I won’t give it away but I almost stopped watching mid way thru.
C-
Also watched Wes Andersons first film Bottle Rocket. The movie came from the idea that our generation has a lot of potential for great things if we could just figure out what that is… with that in mind the movie pulls it off very well… theres some really funny stuff.

Magnolia is my favorite P.T Anderson flick
GO WATCH IT!!
^I almost rented Magnolia last night
I rented American Beauty (I’m on a movie renting kick)… havn’t seen this movie since I saw it in the theater back in 99… not as good as I remember.
Apocalypto.
Saw this last night and it just blew me away. Don’t be put off by the lousy trailers, the fact that it’s subtitled or that El Gibbo is quite the tool - this is one of the most outrageously exciting films of recent years, and also one of teh most spectacular and it needs to be seen on thebig screen.
i see a bunch of movies, blood diamond was good, apacalypto was good, rocky balboa was good, little miss sunshine was good, idiocracy was okay, borat is nice, very nice, miami vice kinda crappy, clerks 2 good closure some funny parts, talladega nights was funny but a tad too long
im blanking on the others i’ve seen recently, my fav of the past few months was the science of sleep, great movie imo
GREAT MOVIE… Behind the Green Door… CLASSIC
Another good one is… Ill tell ya later… Im drawing a blank seems the one I talk about above is so good its made me lose my thought on others… LOL
