Seen any good movies lately?

Hans.

Hands.

Hold Hands.

oh ok…i thought it was something like that.

Snakes on a Muthafuckin’ Plane

I seriously watched this film a couple nights back. It was ridiculous, as expected. Samuel Jackson made me laugh many times.

Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber. AMC was running Die Hard this weekend.

How about him in Galaxy Quest as Alexander Dane?

Rickman is wonderful in most movies he’s in.

saw Walk Hard at the Kennedy School last night on a comfy couch over a pitcher of McMenamin’s delicous smoked Humboldt Porter nd laughed my ass off.

the movie might have sucked at any other time and place but given recent stuff me and my friend have found funny and all the right references dropped, and the Kennedy School theater, it was awesome.

I wathced Michael Franti’s ‘I Know I’m Not Alone’ yesterday. He travels to Baghdad, Palestine and Israel and talks to the people being effected by the goings on in those areas. If you like those types of documentaries then it’s a pretty good one to watch.

‘Thread Killer’s’ avatar reminded me…

I watched Cool Hand Luke the other day again on AMC (or was it A&E?)

Either way, classic movie!!

I saw JUNO.

What a really great movie.
Smart, funny, and surprisingly touching/sentimental, without being cheesy.
Not to mention it cost like 5 million to make and after this weekend it has made $124,090,000!
That is crazy for an independent flick.
What a great movie for young girls as well.
I can’t remember a film ever having a anti-hero like Juno.
Ellen Page is great in it and I’m pulling for her to win the Oscar.

Go see it.

Also saw CLOVERFIELD

Alright.
Good idea for a film, but…meh. Could have been better.
Don’t know if I liked the handheld camera aspect of it, but that was the whole premise.
Special effects were good and the monster(s) was/were pretty cool.

I watched “Gone Baby Gone” the other night.

Good first attempt by Ben A. as a director.

Great acting.

Hot chick.

Good story.

Cool twist.

DEPRESSING AS FUCK ending.

out.

I’m not certain, but I’m almost positive that the last movie I saw in a movie theater was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

went to see In Bruges last night, and really enjoyed it.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0780536/

check it out if you get the chance, reminded me of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels or Snatch

it’s just got that feel to it

oh also watched Jumper, which was pretty crappy

and Charlie Bartlett which wasn’t as crappy but still crappy

oh and We Own the Night, which wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good, reminded me of like a Departed ripoff somewhat

these studios need to start taking chances on scripts/writers and shit that bring new ideas to the table, so much of hollywood seems really really stale since the mid to late 90’s

I watched Sweeney Todd: It was alright, better than most recent Burton films. Pretty violent butt enjoyable.

Then I watched Juno. It was pretty clever, funny butt nothing special. Just so many damn cute people!

I Watched Good Luck Chuck the other night. Hilarious. I’m not a big Dane Cook fan, but damn this movie is hilarious.

do it.

^Just heard an interview with Marjane Satrapi on the radio concerning this movie. Sounded blasphmous from a strictly Islamic POV. Hope its popularity doesn’t put her in any danger.

Watched the last Harry Potter movie this weekend and couldn’t stay awake all the way through it. The actors seem like they’ve had quite enough of those roles.

Also watched a pirated copy of Bucket List with Nicholson and Freeman. As utterly predictable as it was, the movie works solely on the strength of the actor’s personalities. If you like these two guys at all, you will like this movie.

Morgan L Fishburn can do no wrong in mine eyes!

Inventing the Abbots.

pretty dang okay.

I want to see Persepolis so badly. I missed it when it was in the theaters and now I’m stuck till DVD. Oh Well.

Just watched the Transporter, and I got the second one waiting to go on the ole DVR.

All I gotta say is the “DVD on TV” on FX is ghey. Yep.
