Seen any good movies lately?

Just watched Star Trek the other night finally.

Pretty good movie. Exciting. Good action.
I really liked the kid they got to play Spock.

watched boondock saints 2 last night. pretty good, if you like the original check it out.

From Heroes on NBC…

rented this for the second time…I think it’s pretty damn funny

Fantastic movie.

You know, I’m a huge Brosnan fan, so the fact that he participated in this POS was highly disappointing to me. I actually saw an interview with him (on Craig Ferguson, Jay!) where he basically implied that they were all pretty inebriated during the filming of that movie. I still maintain that Pierce Brosnan IS James Bond, Connery lovers be damned! In fact, I like Roger Moore better than Connery as well.

great movie, i love when that dude punches out the bartender

and the scene with mike where he’s eating.

this one is a keeper.

:lolno:

I am a huge R.Moore fan, but Brosnan ‘is Bond’, huh? What?

raw dogg 17

I’m with you here. Out of Brosnan’s four movies, maybe one of them is watchable. The World Is Not Enough in particular was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. And, let’s be fair, Brosnan is Remington Steele, not Bond. Watch that old show…it’s basically identical to the Bond character he plays in the movies. And, seriously…Connery was pretty darn sweet but Moore was okay too. And Lazenby wasn’t bad either.

Pierce had a great start with Goldeneye, and became incredibly boring afterwards.

If Brosnan wasn’t tied up with his Remington Steele contract he would have been a much younger Bond, been able to have made more 007s, and been the ultimate Bond.

I do have a soft spot for young Brosnan. No, his singing sucked but I love Mamma Mia, the movie AND the musical, and yes,
I <3 Abba…

^Well that’s a big shame. Love Holmes and Downey Jr. Too bad they didn’t work together.

Had to be better than Yes Man with Jim Carrey.

Just watched Severance. Pretty good movie. Semi-horror, even a smidgen of Comedy tossed in there. Basically a group of co-workers head into the woods of Germany (I believe), and run into some ass-backwards-woods-people.

(between this movie and the ex-show Dead Like Me, I think I have a huge crush on Laura Harris)

Really good movie. Phenomenal performance by Frank Langella!

This one not so good. Dark and weird. Why is Sandler playing roles like this? This and that movie with Don Cheadle, Reign Over Me, are not Adam Sandler roles. Just be funny.

^ I’d agree.
I really liked the first 45 minutes/hour, pretty funny stuff, especially with all the cameo’s of other comedians.

Then it turned into a weird, disjointed love story,…if you’d even call it that.
I really don’t know what they were trying to do.
I think the writers had a great start and then just lost it and tried to tie it all together.
They failed.

I thought Downy Jr. was great.
I don’t know, never really read alot of Holmes so I kinda liked it.
Downy and Law worked good together,…I think they will be making another.

…and it’s much, MUCH better then Yes Man.

I was just really impressed with G.I. Joe.

I thought they used the flashbacks really well.

Except for a couple times.

But it was all good.

The ending threw me for a loop.

I can’t remember my childhood cartoons that well I suppose.

Is there a Shapeshifter in Cobra?

The Life of David Gale is fantastic if you haven’t seen it. It’s been a while since I have, but we got it from Netflix today. I can’t wait to watch it tomorrow when Holt is here. It’s about the death penalty and Kevin Spacey is fantastic as usual. Definitely recommend it!

I just saw that is on the Netflix Instant Queue, I shall load it up soon. Thanks Ollie!

I watched Pineapple Express last night.

Had some LOL moments, but not as funny as, say, 40-year-Old Virgin or even Knocked Up.
