I never really got into the whole “eating things you find in the wild that you’re not 100% sure of what they are” thing.
That’s just me, though.
I wonder if she had a 4-day trip…
I’m sure July 7th–>July 9th was a pretty hetty trip, though.
seriously why would I even say that.
this is someone’s mother!! aunt!! sister!! lover!!
Oh she had a trip all right.
She’s on THE trip now.
Stupid broad.
Thinning of the heard if you ask me.
I tend to honor the dead by listening to George Carlin…ANYTHING can be funny. And that was funny.
Seriously, she’s probably taking the “ultimate” trip right now…

I hope they play that at her funeral. Just for shits and giggles. Who doesn’t know to not eat wild mushrooms?
I was borned and raised in White Plains, but haven’t lived there since 1966. So now that Zoila and I are both no longer there, I’m sure it’s raised the average intelligence level of the city by quite a bit.
Zoila was a toila
but now she’s not

RIP old friend. Geez, she’s about my age. I wonder if we went to the same schools together. Now THAT’S a creepy thought.
Thinning of the heard if you ask me.
Indeed. I’m a big fan of Survival of the Fittest.

Now, come on folks. Maybe she ate wild mushrooms all the time. We don’t know, they didn’t go into that. Like they said, they are very hard to tell if they are ok to eat or not. It was a lethal, but innocent mistake. That’s how Chris McCandless died (Into the Wild), and he was quite an intelligent person.
I know everything is funny. Seriously, I strongly have that belief, but have a little respect. Jokes are fine, but straight up mocking seems morbid to me. Like Hank said, she was someone’s mom, sister, aunt, etc.
Don’t mind me, sorry.
^ True that. All joking aside though…if it’s hard to tell whether they are poisonous or not, the best move is to not eat any mushrooms you find growing in the wild. I think the only reason why this is remotely news is because almost everyone in the world knows that at this point, and it’s just hard to believe that this woman didn’t know that you don’t eat mushrooms you find growing under a tree. It’s like someone petting a porcupine and getting a handful of needles…it’s funny because it’s just hard to imagine someone being that…we’ll say naive, because she actually died doing this.
Very true, sir.
But we still don’t know the complete story.
Poor lady.
Bill started it all by making a lame IJ3 reference!
Ban him then Neil. Then see what happens.
Yeah, ban 'em all!!!
Ban You!!? Ban Everybody!!
(sorry…lame Jerky Boys reference)
Bill started it all by making a lame IJ3 reference!
I apologized up front for being lame with that reference.
I’m lame?
So you think, I’m, er, lame?
Like a lot lame, or a little bit lame.?
Lame huh?
Does this mean the engagement’s off, Nielsie?
Oh I was just horsin’ around.
I actually like Last Crusade best out of all of them.
Anybody who integrates pop culture references into their thread titles is OK in my book.
^I do too. The whole scene with the fight on the moving tank is just a classic, in my opinion.

^^ Me too. I was feigning insult.
