about a month ago, a friend here at work burned me copies of “yankee hotel foxtrot” and “sky blue sky”. i listened to both albums a couple of times and although i’m extremely open-minded when it comes to music, i didn’t like either album. i thought it was too mellow and i didn’t think tweedy is as good of a songwriter as most people make him out to be. if i was going to see them live, i would bring a pillow and a blanket. but that’s just me.

Man, I’ve never really “got” Wilco. Some of their tunes sound like generic country tunes and other tunes sound like some wacky psychological stuff.
But seriously, if I was in your place, I’d probably go. After all, it’s only eight minutes from your place and if they suck, you can just leave.
Wait a second…there’s probably going to be some sweet playoff games on…on second thought, stay home and watch those.
