Shows/Meet ups - Live Phish

Ok, I know this is not that big of a deal, but it is something that has begun to confuse me recently.

The shows/meet up board seems to me where all things “tour” should be posted. The board is full of useful tips for travelers, venue info, meet ups, tips and trades, and anything road related. Now this is one of my favorite sections of the OKP forum, but it seems that the Live Phish board is kind of over lapping with these types of things. A few examples in the Live Phish forum:

Shoreline Confirmed
Toyota Park
2nd Leg Announced

That is just to name a few… I mean none of those shows have taken place yet so wouldn’t all of these types of threads be in the Shows/meetup board? Threads like these seem to fit a lot better in Live Phish:

Audience Participation
Hampton reviews and thoughts
12-01-1995 Hershey Park

Well anyways this is just constructive criticism, nothing that is that big of a deal. I am sure a lot of this has to do with the influx of all the noobs within the last month or two. They may not be clear on where to put their threads. Thanks for your help and LONG LIVE OKP!

I moved the Gorge thread for our enjoyment.

Almost did the Red Rocks tic toc… but, eh.

Yeah, there is a lot of gray area there. I just noticed in the last few weeks it has become more frequent that peeps are putting threads in Live Phish that should be on the shows board… thanks for taking a look!

Trying to keep stuff in check… but honestly, with all the hoopla, I am ignoring threads for the first time, so I don’t really know what belongs and what doesn’t.

FUCK. If I see one more misplaced thread that’s like 60/40 shows/meetups vs. LP and is posted in LP, then… I dunno. Not making fun of you. That is kinda confusing.

The whole “420danknugsbrah” actually came from Marianne (Funky B) when we were stoned one morning at Wakarusa 2007. We were kinda making fun of the whole jamband-internet-forum thing, in reference to the Bisco/STS9/Moe kidz, as well as the young jam fans, who put 420 or weed references as their name. We came up with 420DANKNUGSBRAH in howling laughter at how stupid as well as rediculous it sounded. We kept saying it all weekend too.

I was not on OKP at that time (I was on hiatus!), so she suggested that I register on here or PT under that name. Which is what I did. At first, if you remember, I had Wook#17 as my picture…someone on here that was new sent me a PM asking me if I was said Wook#17 in reality, which made the whole thing soooooo worth it.
