if people are within the same city it just makes sense to meet up and pass on the discs. i dont think people will get bent out of shape if they’re pushed 2-3 days down the line.
I think we’re all greatful that at some point in time we will get these discs. Being bumped around is cool. For Chrissakes!!! 300+ shows and all for the cost of the blank discs adn S/H. IT’S A STEAL!!!
after further research, I’ve concluded that DVD media is not currently capable of being written onto faster than 16x, however the burner can be up to 52x (the standard) for burning all other types of media: cd-r, cd+r, cd-rw, etc.

Ok I have begun working on the archive AGAIN for the last time. I apologize to all that have been waiting, but life happens when we are busy making other plans. I have had so much stuff swirling around that I just flat havent had the time. You can tell by the number of posts I have been making lately, which is none. I gotta get this out and outta my head so I’m shipping this stuff ASAP.
ok, well another idea just struck me. How about I just send out the 100 CDrs? anyone down for this instead of DVDs?

I sure have been gone a while. I don’t even know what this is all about, but it seems like something I should be a part of.
This is a project to create a definitve archive of shows, to be distributed across the OKP. We aim to have a collection of every show in circulation at some point. Progress on this has been slow due to problems with shipping. It’s unclear though when it’ll start up again.

my computer will be up and running within 2-3 weeks. i can then proceed to recreate the original discs to get this flowing again. i may even buy a dvd burner to speed up this process. by years end the phish archive will be making its way around the OKP.
