Sirius Radio -- Roll Your Own

<<<<< So ya I picked a setlist, recorded the voice breaks at home and using sendspace submitted all of it to sirius radio. I really didn’t think I would be chosen. Like entering a drawing just for the heck of it, then out of no where I get an email several weeks later from sirius saying:
“I loved your playlist and voice breaks for Roll Your Own, and would love to feature you this Friday on Jam On.
Can you send me mp3s of all the songs you selected by tomorrow?
Thanks!”

I really thought it was some cruel joke, my brain couldn’t figure it out for a couple seconds then it sunk in and I was shocked. Anyways it was on yesterday and it. was. awesome.
for those of you who heard it, I hoped you enjoyed it.

<< So in response to the question about Idaho. First off, can you point to Idaho an a map and I don’t mean Iowa. I mean the state that’s bordered by Canada, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada, Ya that one.
What’s there to do in Idaho? Are you kidding me? Sorry.
Nothing but spuds out here man.
Normally I would dismiss this question, but being from Indiana and not realizing what was in this supposed potato land before I was lucky enough to live here (although we’re moving to DC this summer for grad school), I feel obligated to send a few links your way. It’s hard for people that think driving 2-3 hours is a long drive, when in Idaho it takes a good 10+ hrs to get from Preston,ID to Bonners Ferry, ID, to understand the magnitude of this state. First off it’s mainly a boom state with emphasis on outdoor recreation and travel. Anything and everything year round outdoors. Here’s some sites about Idaho.

Don’t tell anyone though, remember this is potato country with absolutely nothing to do. Ohh and don’t get eaten by the griz or the wolves if ya come through the river of no return widerness. ;D

I totally missed it…

But congrats on getting played!

Is there an “archive” anywhere? Maybe we can listen that way.

yeah I’m from Illinois my whole life (actually the same town my whole life) I’ve seen beans and corn as far as the eye can see as long as I can remember. I can’t imagine potatoes being anymore interesting. Sounds like a cool place to visit, but thanks for marking it off my list of places to move before I die.

Idaho is pretty cool, imo.

But only for driving through to see the mountains. And maybe camping for a night.

or for going back in time to 9.14.99

Love Idaho!

I wouldn’t listen to what most people from Utah say, especially one’s that set up a website for psycho rantings. They’re crazy down there (and not the good crazy, read "Under the Banner of Heaven http://www.randomhouse.com/features/krakauer/) and most of them are notorius for being closet h mo’s for ID, I guess AxillaPtIII is one too, since he posts that every time Idaho comes up, but I’m sure his Dyer, Indiana blows it out of the water.
p.s. I lived in Muncie, Indiana for 21 years, so I know how awesome it is.
Way to keep it breezy though.
The interweb only tells the truth.
Love Indiana!

Fight on, fight on, dear old Muncie
Fight on, hoist the gold and blue
You’ll be tattered, torn, and hurten
Once the Munce is done with you
Go… Eagles!

“You’re a MUNCIE girl??”

I didn’t mean it harshly, I just love maddox. I’ve never been to Idaho, nor have I been to Utah. I don’t have any intention to go to either. But I just think that article is one of the funniest things on the web. If you’d poke around the rest of his site, you’d realize it’s all bullshit, making fun of everything.

It’s all good man, I wasn’t tryin’ to slam idaho at all.

:creates breeze:

^ thanks for that man, I felt the breeze…
^^ Coen (spelling edit) bros. movies kick ass, “you know…for kids!”
