Hell, Tell Ian to keep us in the loop, I am sure us OKP’ers would pony up some $$$ to keep this place flowing…
I would start a fund base today and start with a donation if that helped… 
Slooooow Kee Pa again the last couple of days. It is becoming quite difficult to maintain patience while trying to correspond with the rest of you. I hit “submit” now, then walk away for a couple minutes after pretty much every post—especially in the morning.

Not that anyone can do anything about it… but it’s always nice to bitch sometimes!
OK… I’ll admit… I’m kinda getting a little burnt out on this crap.
If Ian (who I have never even had a single interaction with, I don’t think…) is over the Pa, why doesn’t he transfer it to someone that cares? And, if that’s not gonna happen… maybe it’s time we started a new Pa with our own funds? It’s just not gonna work having the dude in charge MIA 24/7.
We gotta take some action here… I’m willing to do whatever I need to, but let’s put the Pa into the hands of someone that actually needs the Pa! Ian is clearly fine without you wonderful folks in his life… but I wouldn’t be. And I’d like to make sure this place runs smoothly for years and years to come…

Since I have landlords on the mind, I equate this to an absentee landlord situation. Our wiring is on the fritz and we seem to have been abandoned.
If it’s this slow with almost no traffic, what would happen if our population went back up again? I love this place too much to watch it fizzle out.
Yeah, I mean I’m sure Ian’s a great guy. I totally appreciate what he’s done with this place-- especially the move to phpBB, which I think was a positive. And I totally understand what it’s like to find new things and be less involved in old things… but his last login was 7 months ago. I don’t know if he is able to do things internally without logging in… and maybe that’s the case. But it sounds like even the mods haven’t been able to contact him.
It’s awesome that he’s kept this place going with his own cash. It shows he still knows how important of a place it is to many of us… but I think someone who uses the site more frequently would be a lot more able to identify and fix problems.
I would love to offer him a way for us to take the financial burden off of him and, in return, allow us to increase server space and address issues as needed…
