my mom told me when i was born it was between Jeremy and Benji. like, the dog Benji. i was pissed when i was younger because i hated the name Jeremy and thought being named Benji would be totally boss. now i like my name though, and am no longer mad at my mother.

i was sitting here, trying to think up the awesomest handle ever when i thought, who are the two most kickass people in the world? obvious answer: Charles Bronson and Jack Tripper.
then i thought, how, oh how can i intermingle these two power-names into one All-Powerful utterance? and thus, charlieJack was bornthed.

We named our oldest son Tomkin. Good compromise - like a combo between a traditional Christian name, and a stupid shameful ridiculous Italian mockery of names.

Cool. Olivia is our first granddaughter’s name, and she’s the best. Only her knick is Liv or Livy. When she calls me ‘pops’ I tease her back by calling her Liverlips.
She’s almost 13, and I’m almost 60, but at the dinner table we still do train wrecks at each other and it drives Marie crazy.
