i’ll go first
i only drink, as far as intoxication goes (no not even weed).
so for me it depends on the act and situation. If i think it’s going to be a more chilled out interesting musical showcase, i’ll stay sober. if it’s going to be a run-of-the-mill but fun as hell jam band(or other fun kind of music) party type of band, i’ll have a few.
i agree i am going to see sigur ros nest week and i plan to stay sober because that is show u sit down shut up and watch…i am So excited
about half the phish shows ive seen i was sober…give or take a few…
most of the time i go to see a show now i’ll have some booze…hit a doob a few times…and the occasional thumbprint…
I always drink at shows. But I have attended a great many drug and smoke free…
I’ve worked some, gone to a few messed up and been sober at some. But either way I always remember the music
Had a few at the recent moe. show… But they were birfday beers, does that even count??
But I did not smoke… 1 month strong!
Same boat as VERNIXX…always drink, but never get out-of-control-loudmouth-obnoxiously drunk.
As for smoking - If I’ve got it, I do; if I don’t, I don’t smoke.
I really don’t drink a whole lot…more of a chiefer by nature so i guess i would go under very rarely b/c since i have been smoking, i have pretty much gotten high at every show i have been to minus a few here and there where we may not have been able to do it…
If I party, it’s generally before the show. But by the second or third song, I’m pretty sober most of the time.
On some occasions, I do enjoy a late show aparetif, but only if I manage to get some sambuca shooters through the pat-down. Once in a while, I might bring some smoke into a show, but that’s rare and depends on the venue, who I’m with, and where I’m sitting.
I can’t go to a show without at least smoking mad bowls. Although, the majority of the time I do find something nice in the lot for the show.
Depends of who’s playing…
I almost always have a few drinks before/during the show. Sometimes I’ll smoke herb, sometimes not. On special occasions, I’ll get a little blow or molly, and on VERY special occasions, I’ll trip. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I NEVER attend a concert sober, but it sure doesn’t happen too often.
Or why not all at once? 
where i come from we call that MAYO…a sweet combo of molly and yayo…heyoooooo…been a long time…actually i take that back…i got pretty fucked up on jamcruise, but before that,…oh yeah new years…well before that i hdan’t done any boogar sugar since all good…not too shabby

Shows without beers…uhhh no. as far as the rest its all situational, depends on my mood and the mood of who I am with liquid pb &j anyone? I am not sure if it counts as sober but went to Cumberland county once with the worst flu I think I had ever had, I sure felt fucked up. Propped myself up on the stairs leading to the second tier throwing up into a big cup and occasionally running off to the bathroom to expunge the demons knocking at the other door. Still remember it as being a great show though and I was pretty much sober as a judge.
In the earlier years I was not but lately, minus a beer or two, I cannot risk and driving issues EVER…
I had to bring an oldie but goodie back!!!
I was so sick on Thursday and I got offered a free ticket to see Blind Melon, which I turned down, not directly because I was sick, but because I knew the only way I was going to enjoy that show was if I drank one too many, and that wasn’t going to work well with the pills I was taking. So yeah…I missed a free Blind Melon show because I knew I couldn’t get drunk at it…I hear it sucked anyway, but I guess I kind of do too.
