^I’ll take that into consideration - my favorite part of the 10-30-98 Stash > Shoe Mouth is the soloing by Trey in the Manteca.
Another show i will have to look for myself in! So far all the Phish DVD’s that feature shows i was at i have not caught a glimpse of myself. Hopefully this will be the one! Oh yeah the show will be cool to see as well! ;D crab in bigb’s mouth!
^P.S. Listened to Halloween 98 first set yesterday and the Manteca teases in the Punch made me smile then cream!

Do you mean like Colorado '88, NYE 95, or the Island Tour? I couldn’t disagree more if that’s the question. I like every pick that I’ve heard of Shapiro’s/the Band’s so far. I’ve never heard a bad show other than Coventry anyway, so I don’t agree either way I guess. Even Coventry has a good Bowie and YEM. Nah…release 'em all I say.
I wish they’d release this shit on DVD. I don’t have a DVD burner and the idea that I’d have to watch it on my computer is weak.

Colo 88 was meh, nye 95 was a nice pick, island tour was just okay. i suppose i am drifting farther away from listening to phish these days since they aren’t touring and i have heard a ton of shows already. to be honest, i cant remember the last time i listened to more than 20 minutes of phish in one day. hmm.
I agree with NYE '95, but your assessment of the Island Tour as “just okay” is absurd. It contains some of the best latter-day, pre-hiatus Phish!
And to be honest, I haven’t heard much of Colorado '88.
