Wow. It’s Ice is an incredible piece of music, but Divided Sky is the kind of thing where you go, “Did God whisper this melody to Trey?” … and there is more than one melody in DS that does that to ya.
The DS jam is one of my favorites, because the chord progression of the jam is very unique and makes for some really moving moments.
it’s ice might be my fav leo songs. so glad they brought it back in '00, especially at deer creek.
My wife and most of the world loves DS. I’m much cooler toward it and love It’s Ice as a song much more.

couldn’t have said it better myself. and it’s too bad that ice got such a low seed. the song is pure genius. but if the light was just perfect and your mind was in that place, divided sky would take me soaring.
Nope have to go with Sky. Me like Ice but me love sky. Ice comes from rain, rain comes from clouds, clouds need the sky to form… so from that logic ice has a long way to go before becoming sky.
Ice. I always get lost when he breaks through to the other side of the ice. That is one of the greatest feelings in the world, when a jam goes so out there, that you just completely forget what song it is, and Ice does it to me almost every time. Great stuff.

Divided Sky is amazing for obvious reasons, but i voted Ice…

I have mad respect for Divided Sky, but I rarely listen to it.
I’d much rather hear a sick It’s Ice. The middle section has so much potential.

i always hoped (i think they actually ended up doing it once at some point) to hear them go into Steep>Swept Away in the middle part!
but really, they coulda used it to go into just about anything!

I’m with Justin. Ice is one of my favorites, but I don’t think I could live with myself if I voted against Divided Sky.
