wow, that was a toughyā¦
/loads and loads of sarcasm
do yourself a favor and listen to moma dance from 2006-02-26
I canāt make up my mind!!
Poor BATR. It was the song that caught my attention on the radio to Phish, and enticed me to buy ALO. But really, Moma Dance is one of the few late career compositions that I actually enjoyed.
Never was a fan of big fan of bouncin. Ironically i thought it fit nice ly on 9-18-99 but Moma never turned me off, even when hearing it every night in 98.
Can i vote BEK?
I went w/Bouncing.
Iāve never felt like Moma Dance was really much of a song - just kinda put some words to a funky groove and forced a melody out of it, and presto - new Phish song.
Bouncing is more of a complete tune, and the studio version really captures its original vision best IMHO.
Phish ruined my late-period Phish experience by being so incredibly ambitious during their early period.
::shrugs::
the funk. the funk. bring the funk. moma!
the funk is so thick you couldnāt bounce around the room.
Haprua and Ice 14 seeds while Bouncin Gets a 10

Moma Dance. No question abou it, this song blew my mind the first time I heard itā¦Bouncin is great, but Momaās a monster.
word up play-it-leo⦠no love for black eyed katy!
for the record i donāt hate bouncing nor am i sick of it (i think i only saw it once or twice), but Moma was just sooooo wycked.
Moment Ends
I canāt remember who I voted for. I think it was āBouncing.ā
Although Bouncinā holds a place with me. One of the 3 songs that got me into the wonders of Phish, I had to vote Moma.
Canāt fake the phunk!
Maybe if they had jammed a Bouncinā or two, but never never never. It just seemd to scream, ādonāt end me now, please donāt do it, please guys, canāt you see Iām a-begginās and a-pleadinā!ā. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I canāt believe people like BATR over Moma. Lame.
