I just sat here for four hours playing this effing Spore game. I don’t even know what to think about that…I mean besides the obvious. Although I did name a planet Axilla Part II.

Is it good? I’ve been thinking about getting it, but I don’t think my computer will run it, and then they’ll never let you return it if it doesn’t.
Ian has it. The first time we played it we were both really baked and it was awesome floating around eating things and growing, the backgrounds were really trippy too especially with the music. It looks okay from what I’ve seen, it’s cool how customizable everything is but I think it’d get pretty boring quickly.
I’m thinking about getting it.
Do you reccomend buying it vultured?

Funny, but there was just an article about the guy who created this game in this week’s Sunday paper. He made his gaming fortune on the Sims, which is the most popular computer game ever, according to that article.
Oh yeah…Will Wright is a legend. He created that whole Sim world…Sim City was the only game of his I ever really played though. That shit was awesome way back in the day though.
Spore is already out? I’ve never been real big on the Sim games (I played SimCity a lil bit for SNES but once I built an amazing metropolis which only ran on trains I kind of didn’t see the point to keep playing). It looks like a cool concept. Everything Will Wright touches turns into a money-maker.
I’m currently playing Mark of Kri…it’s a nice lil action game where you play some japanese warrior and stuff…lots of slaughter and stealth and that…not bad for only being $3 at the store. I’m not bothering with a PS3 or a 360 yet…there’s still plenty of stuff for the PS2 I haven’t got to yet.
Shouldn’t we just turn this to the video game thread so nerds like me can ramble about games? Hurray!

You can get a 360 for $199 now, and lots of the launch games are getting as cheap as the PS2 games. Come on Stevo…do it…the only other person on this site who is ever on XBOX Live is Swartz and all he does is play Halo. You know you want GTAIV. do it.
