The photos do look weird. They may be real but they look artificial somehow.
You know, I was just joking, but you’re right! There’s definitely some awkwardness. Look at that sheet sitting on the sound board. That looks fake to meee. But who cares?
Either way, it doesn’t matter. Songs are being written all the time by songwriters.
Hooray Tom and Trey, anyway! Let’s hope we get some really great new shit this year. I’m sure we will!
They’re not fake, brahs…
From the reflection in the mirror of the person taking Tom’s picture writing at the table, the house sits on a lake or a river. The house that Trey bought last year from Lorraine Bracco is right on the banks of the Hudson in Snedens Landing, and that could easily be the river reflected in the mirror.
Here’s some real estate pics from the sale of Bracco’s house, it kind of looks similar, especially the view into the kitchen with the center butcher block and the metal range hood directly behind it:

These guys have been doing this together for years, and it’s always great to see that they’ve maintained their friendship through all of the crap that they’ve both been through.
I wish, but I will say, Trey looks like a little kid here, I just get a good feeling from that photo, I love it!
Outstanding. Great find!
Nice one, Fone! Definitely the same house.
TOM IS A GIANT!!!

Was Makisupa Policeman the 1st song they wrote together (3rd Grade), Coulda sworn Trey said that in an interview in the 90’s??? ![]()
I’m almost certain Trey met Tom after Junta because I remember that for NYE '94 Trey invites Tom to sing Antelope saying that they were the first lyrics written by Tom, and in an interview, Tom mentioned that he heard Junta and thought that they really needed a lyrics writer. I could be wrong though.
nope, Tom and Trey are kiddie time friends that grew up together
Learn something new every day I guess.
