Can you load XP on it as a secondary OS and then load your older apps running on XP?
Can just hear Buster and the rest of the MAC advocates chastising you for going MS.

Icc, I spilled my milk. Think you can get your mom over here to clean it up?
Just kidding man. Sucks about the computer. Why don’t you just pirate whatever you need?
That sucks!
I didn’t quite follow why you’d have a legitimate copy of the program you were … ordering? I missed something there. Either way the freaking OS limitations piss me right off. I hope you can return to this thread with a nice epilogue about how the new machine’s now got Wavelab goin on and all is cool.
I’m stressed out myself, because I’ve … well actually I’m so stressed I don’t have time to explain.
you can just imagine the cake, when the icing upon it is: someone put on the country radio station in the office.

You’ve gotta be able to find some software that’s compatible. Bittorrent is your friend Icc. Sure, it’s a sleazy friend that’s always trying to get you to go halvsies on an ugly hooker, but at the end of the day, you’ve already paid for the programs so it’s not illegal for you to download a back up, I don’t think.
WTF is a dongle?!
“Hey, check out my dongle. She’s a beaut, ain’t she?”
That sucks man. Computer woes = agony.
^Nice, good to hear, Glenn.
I was a tad worried in the beginnings of this thread, but glad it all worked out.
I was going to mention that if you were planning on running XP on that machine, it would most likely be better to completely wipe Vista off. Vista is a hog of an OS. Here at school we have these virtual machines, with several operating systems on them that we can mess around with them. A lot of older OS’s along with Linux and whatnot. Well, we can copy all of the OS’s onto an external if we have them, or even a flash drive. All the OS’s fit on a flash drive except Vista. Vista was 16 GB’S!
Sweet! I had a problem with my computer the other night. I got it resolved after two days of head scratching and a couple hours on the phone for advice. Turns out it was just that I was a twit.
