Summer Camp 06

^before i get to the camping arrangements, tea leaf green has just been announced as well.

the camping situation is pretty dope. there’s a decent sized forest that everyone sets up camp in so there’s some shade (make sure you get there early enough on thursday though because the prime spots go quick). the only bad thing is that you can’t camp next to your car, and the campsite is a good walk away so make sure you bring something with wheels to haul your stuff. they also say no outside alcohol, but we managed to bring in about 5 cases of beer last year. they also have a campground for rv’s, but with a little convincing, you can bring your car in there if you really want to camp by it. one of the best things is that they have a stage which the smaller bands use thats right in the middle of the campground.

i think that just about covers it.

I hate the ‘No camping with your vehicle’ deal… Damn, if it pours or you need a quick quiet moment, the car is always chill…

Oh-Well, still in the planning stages, with 10klf hitting hard, I have to budget properly…

RAQ better make it out to the reunion…I bet they will, I heard they had a blast last year…
Anywho this festival is always during the Big Wu Family Reunion and I won’t miss the Reunion…The music scene is way smaller but the camping and the vibes are some of my favorite times…I bet pholks are like what??? Big Wu over Moe… It seems silly but the reunion proves to be amazing over and over and over…

I have heard some talk here in the Cities about it,(line ups) I hope they throw it down…

hey has anyone done the volunteer thing at summercamp before? 4 hours a day = free admission. i’m thinkin of doin that, save the money for possibly 10kl.

Summercamp’s line-up is out of this world. I’m attending the BWFR as usual but have friends making the trek to IL… I’ll be looking foward foward to hearing how the festival runs…Should be sick.

yea smells, i’ll be there. for at least one day i’ll be wearin my red oh kee pa shirt, and me and my friends will be selling puppy chow. i’m really looking forward to this…it came up so fast!
