Hey guys. I have not posted in a very long time, but i need your help. I am currently planning a summer road trip (yeah i know its not even december, but if i dont get started making plans now it wont happen). Sooooooooo if you all could help me put together a list of awesome summer music festivals i could plan my trip around, bonnaroo, 10k lakes, etc. that would be freaking awesome

High Sierra Music Festival, July 3-6, 2008 in Quincy, CA
If your road trip goes this long, finish it off in Turin, NY at moe.down.
It’s a great time, a tad smaller than your average festival, great music and great people, you’ll have a great time.
It runs on Labor Day, which is usually Sept 1, 2, 3 (or a variation of those dates)
I just looked at the calendar and it looks like Labor Day weekend will be August 30-31, so moe.down will most likely be August 30, 31, and Sept. 1 (yes, it’s three days).
Remember, this hasn’t been officially announced, but it will most likely be happening, as it does every year for the past 8 years.

if you like the allman bros and any of their family bands (ie. govt mule, derek trucks band, etc.) wanee would be teh seckness. jawbone might comment on that
If you’re up North, you must check out 10,000 Lakes. Beautiful camping and each year’s lineup has gotten better and better…pretty much…it certainly hasn’t hit any rough spots yet anyway.

biggest prblm is how spread out they all are geographically and how close they are in time.
but im hoping to plan a route that includes as many as possible
