TAB Fall Tour

I’m speering you.

Yeah, not even within 600 miles for me… suck…

Yeah, so few dates that it’s barely a tour. I’m always surprised when Phish does this since you’d think that with the overhead of packing equipment and getting people along, you’d want to get more dates into that. Oh well…I miss me some TAB.

Saw TAB on Halloween in Asheville, N.C. '02. They did not cover anything…except Sultans Of Swing

Maybe some midwest dates are gonna get sprinkled in those off weeks? I hope? :sunglasses:

Holy Hugeness Batman! Paris has obviously been exposed to Billy Fuccillo. The most annoying car dealership monopolizer in history!

I’m assuming you’re still in Vermont? That’s why. I couldn’t believe it when Trey sold his house in Vermont and moved to fucking Long Island of all goddamn places in the whole country. LONG ISLAND FOR FUCKS SAKE! You go from having a huge property with views of Mount Mansfield and Camels Hump to having a… nice house in some piece a shit fuckin place in one giant, 100-mile-long suburb called Long Island. Aaarrggh. He said it was because he was “getting stir-crazy up there” in Vermont, but that’s what happens to a man when you come into the country, for fucks sake. You get stir crazy. You get cabin fever. It produces phenomenal music, quite often. Much of Phish’s older music is steeped in the Vermont winter, seething with every bit of heat it can muster but cold at its core and not sorry for it. It’s the sensibility that can only come from living in a place that is special, despite the fact that Vermont is not very remote.

It’s a special place that produces special music, and now they’ve all abandoned it except for Mike. And maybe Page but definitely Mike is still in VT. And you can fucking tell, big time. I love almost everything Phish is doing right now (almost, I said), but they really need to all go up to Mike’s house in January and get right down to business. I bet you’d have one hell of a record then.

/angry soapbox rant

i mean, they’ve spent quite a bit of time in page’s house…i think mike’s house should get some time too :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, NYC suppresses the soul.

Have you ever seen the east end of Long Island? Out east there are ALOT of farms and vineyards. Don’t judge LI by Nassau Co. and Jones Beach. Long Island still has some great beaches and spots out east.

With that said…glad I left. Great place to visit, but I don’t want to live there.

Geez, long island isn’t that bad at all.

Pfffft. West Coast rules all your asses.

I think the inspiration and “Farm Housieness” of this is good.
::Hangs head in shame for agreeing with Ship::

Nice booty dooj.

Less than one month before I get some live Trey.

hmm. i thought fish was the only one living full time in VT still. not that i keep up on all the “TMPhZ” if you will, but it was just around reunion that Fish was getting drama because he wanted to build a wind turbine on his farm on Lake Champlain to power his property but was getting shot down over “sight pollution”… no? i guess he coulda left state over that…

anyway, i wouldn’t be surprised if Mike still has a place up there, but i know he lives in/around NYC a good part of the time because i have a friend who lives on manhattan and sees him in Whole Foods regularly.

no idea about page, but then he was always the quiet one

trey’s place (unless he moved yet again) isn’t on long island, but rather upriver from NYC… i forget where exactly but its north up the hudson and on the west side of the water. i think i read like DeNiro lives there. i mean… c’mon.

oh, and in case it needs to be said, no haterade. just wondering what’s accurate and hoping to clarify.
