I just got my tickets this morning!! Now I need a ride and a place to stay!
man i want to go soo bad the more and more i think about how ill never get to see them again… i want to sell my hookah tickets now, but i already told so many people that i would meet them at the hookah shows, for it will be their first hookah shows.
That sucks man. I think I bought one of the last tickets for the second night. I’d say they will be sold out in 2 or 3 days.
I thought this thread was asking us to go into detail about stories recalling Thanksgiving incidents with our family members at dinner.
a couple of thanksgivings ago my mom’s boyfriend at the time who was a complete tool wanted to take her and me and my brother and our girlfriends but my girlfriend wasn’t that “official” of a girlfriend type of thing and i thought it would be funnier to bring my ex-sea captain uncle instead that the guy hated. i didn’t tell him i was bringing my uncle i just said i was brining somebody.
a day and night of hilariousness ensued.
that was one of my most memorable thanksgiving incidents.

While we’re talking about the other type of Thanksgiving incident, I was at my grandmother’s house a long time ago eating Thanksgiving dinner, and we looked outside and someone’s truck was on fire. We ran over there and knocked on their door and proceeded to put the damn thing out. I tried to get the hose, but it was frozen solid. Finally they came out, in thier robes, but they didn’t do anything. They just stood there and watched us! Somehow we got it out, but it was pretty scary. Those cats were friggin’ tools!!

oh he took us fishing on a privately chartered fishing boat. the Captain sat there and told everybody how to do their jobs and the guy wanted to throw him overboard.
lots of people hate the Captain.
Really? That’s crazy. He sounded like an awesome guy when you told me about him. Maybe too awesome for some, eh?
one of the things thats stands out in my thanksgiving history is going to town on these italian pasteries from arthur avenue and getting violently ill and throwing up. thats an incident for ya

I can’t wait till the CO incidents come up in '07 so I can see the band off home style. Hopefully these last incidents are ones to remember.

Sorry, I haven’t had much time to talk about this on the OKP. The shows, to say the least, were the best I’ve ever seen. Absolutely incredible! There were some good bluegrass tunes, but not as much as I would have liked. That is the only bad thing I have to say about this weekend. GAH! This place is so beautiful and the scene was perfect. I love this crowd, and will truly miss this whole thing.

This night was soooo HOT! I had the long arms costume on this night, and I had pit tickets. It was fun being up there beside the stage waving those things around. But of course, I can only handle that for so long, and had to move to find more dancing space. Solution>Bossa was fucking intense!! It was hard to handle. Meet Me In The Morning was incredibly soulful. Bumpin’ Reel, the newest song, was very good. Farther was very intimate and sad. I’ve never heard Galactic live, even on any albums, so that was awesome. Damn I gotta go to New Years!
