Yes, I know there’s more to it than mountains (as my brother has constantly reminded me) but having that degree in a particularly flat state like Michigan really doesn’t help. Geology-related jobs aren’t exactly abundant.

Sweet N64 controller piper. I might have to try to make one of those.
My buddy took a 6 year Musical Therapy degree. After he graduated, no word of a lie, he and his fiance (sp?) moved into the treehouse in his parents back yard. Seriously, they lived in the TREE HOUSE for over a year before he finally found some work, which (lo and behold) was not in the field of Musical Therapy.

I’m afraid to look…
no one has to tell me how worthless my college years were. I already know.
My BA is Mass Communication aka Radio, Television, and Film so does that mean I’m covered in both number 6 and number 2?
I would say probably more along the lines of #6.
In my initial post I mistakenly put #5.
I DID NOT GRADUATE WITH A DEGREE IN DANCE.
Just so we’re clear.
uh-huh…
Oh craps. I am an English Lit AND Philosophy major. Does that mean I am double the worthless?
phew, didn’t make it to the list. Still have no idea what to do with my degree at the moment anyway though.
i wish you weren’t a liar.

no I’m pretty much for sure not going to be using my mass communications/English degree in the near future, as I’m quitting my petty newspaper job by the end of the summer and going a different direction.
It really doesn’t matter, as long as you can find a job that makes you happy and that you can live somewhat comfortably with.
WAHOOOO! Mine’s not on there. Surpsingly
